Hi, I’m Jenny – an American currently living in France. I decided to start this blog to share my adventures while living in Europe and all of the destinations and travel tips I discover along the way.
I have always loved exploring new places in the United States – especially National Parks and Ski Resorts. A few years ago, I met my now husband, who happens to play hockey in Europe. I finally got a passport in 2019, that’s right, I did not have a passport until I was 22 years old… and flew to Switzerland by myself to visit him (that is a story for another time). I immediately fell in love with the country and couldn’t wait to return. I spent years traveling back and forth – mainly to visit Kelvin, but also to explore new places. Fast forward three years – we are now married and living in the Haute-Savoie region of southeastern France.
A few things you should know about me… My favorite thing in the world is downhill skiing. I am obsessed with the mountains. Every trip I go on is to the mountains, so getting to live in the French Alps is a dream. I have not been to the ocean since I was six years old, so that is the goal this year… go to an ocean, any of them. I absolutely love to try new foods and explore new places, which is what inspired me to make this blog (because this is very much outside of my comfort zone). One of my favorite things about living here is how easy it is to travel to other countries.
